I have a dream

I have a dream that one day this nation will consider the welfare and futures of every citizen before each and every decision is made.  
I have a dream that one day the purpose of life won’t be power, and the definition of power won’t be money.
I have a dream that one day the waterfalls of intelligence will be plentiful and the rivers of innovation will thrive and become not a river, but an ocean, filling the valleys of mediocrity and self-pity.
I have a dream that everyone will have compassion for the situation that their fellow being is in, whether they are Black or White, cat or dog.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day we will be in the pursuit of our own happiness, and in turn, the pursuit of the happiness of every other being that inhabits the earth.
I have a dream today.
This is my hope and faith.  With this faith we will swim in the seas of friendship, and when our fellow scuba diver is in need of air, there will be a line of people, waiting to relinquish their air tanks.
This will be the day when practicality and intelligence are not terms, but lifestyles.
